Laboratory

Our lab is staffed by registered medical technologists who are supervised by board certified physicians. They perform necessary studies to assist your physician with diagnosis, treatment and the management of diseases and illnesses.

Imaging and Diagnostics

SMCC's $1.7 million imaging center utlizes the latest technology in computed tomography (CT) scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to maximize patient care and to increase diagnostic capabilities. Our imaging department also provides additional services including ultrasound, echocardiography and nuclear medicine.

Physical Therapy

Radiology

Radiology is the medical evaluation of the body, anatomy, tissues and functions, through X-Ray. Radiographers or technologists take pictures of the body to determine injuries and allow doctors to diagnose, treat and manage problems without an initial, exploratory surgery.

At Shawnee Medical Center Clinic, we perform a wide variety of diagnostic services onsite daily. Our radiology department is under direct supervision of board certified radiologists.
