Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Location: Chandler Clinic

Job Summary:
To perform professional comprehensive and individualized patient care consistent with nursing standards (Nursing Practice Act) and Shawnee Medical Center Clinic.

Perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards.

• Maintain and coordinate communication among patient staff and physician.
• Assist patients, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Answer and refer telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication.
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow co-workers.
• Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary with the clinic.
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable finding or concerns.
• Perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Oklahoma Nursing License
• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, one year experience preferred.
• IV Certification
