Phlebotomist

Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of lab procedures as ordered by physician.

Duties:

• Procurement of blood samples for laboratory analyses via venipunctures, finger sticks or heel sticks.
• Obtain throat and nasal swabs
• Spirometry
• Pulse Oximetry
• Administering glucose tolerance tests
• Checking in patients
• Filling in at front desk as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Ability to multitask and to work under pressure
• Good manual dexterity
• Basic computer knowledge

Education and Training:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience preferred
